50 yrs. ago few educationist and social workers established our school which is situated in Amta II- Block , Kushberia G.P. consisting of four villages- Sitalchak, Bankura, Pansila and Sarada. It was established on 6th January,1969. At first, it was recognised as 4 class Junior High School and then it was upgraded till class X through the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education. Later on in the year 2009 it was upgraded till class XII through the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. At presrnt total roll strength of our school is approximately 600. The result of the students of secondary and higher secondary is also outstanding. In 2019, our students Subhasis Samanta got 675 marks in his secondary examination and stood 2nd in ranking in Howrah District. It was only possible because of his hard work along with all the teaching and non teaching staff along with MC members. I am dedicating this achievement to the members and the localities.
