History

JOYPUR PHAKIRDAS INSTITUTION is a Goverment Sponsord H.S.School.

This is a village school and it situated at Joypur,Block Amta-II in Howrah.

It was established by 'Bhai Phakirdas Roy' in 1880.

Joypur College,Joypur BDO office,Joypur Thana and SI office are beside this school.

The sanitary system of this school is very good.

There are 40 rooms,4 Laboratory room and one Library room.

It is stands along in a big play ground.

Now there are four stream in H.S.section;(1) Science .(2) Arts. (3) Commerce. (4) Vocational.
