ABOUT PANITRAS HIGH SCHOOL : Panitras High School situated imbued with the memories of the great novelist Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay,  Panitras High School one of the oldest and biggest school in the district of Howrah. Starting journey in 1874 the school has been tirelessly serving the noble mission of spreading education in more than 15 surrounding villages and after covering the long, spiral path of ups and down of 144 years. Panitras High School has now become a name in the sphere of institutional education and attained the status of a premier institution having diversified scope of formal education, and the most coveted computer application. Housed in a three-storeyed pucca building, the school is now humming with more than 1800 students and a team of 50 sincere and qualified staff under the direct supervision of a keen Govt. Sponsored  Managing Committee of selfless education lovers, Brilliant academic rules in both Madhyamik & HS level , excellence in games & sports, sparkling performance in the arena of culture etc. Recognition from all corners has been gained. There is hardly any field of fame and prosperity, where the proficients o fhis school have not been crowned with success. But to provide the increasing number of students with up to date infrastructural arrangements and modern educational facilities is a challenge to us. Immediately further development  works and renovation of computer rooms, laboratories, reading corner, library, toilets, water supply, cycle stand etc. should be initiated but lack of funds is the unsurpassable bar to all our plans and programmes taken up for all round development of our school. Hence, additional funding from any corner is cordially welcome.
