History

Nuntia High School was established as Nuntia Jr High School on the ouspicious day of 6th January 1969. Later in the year 2000 the school was recognised as high school by W.B.B.S.E. It is situated in Howrah at Bagnan , South Circle. It is a Secondary School. Students of V - X are taught here. It is CO - Education School. The present school building is constructed on the donated land of respected Sri Kartick Ch Maji of village Nuntia besides Mr. Maji a valuable plot of land has been donated in favour of the reputed institution by honourable Sri Poritosh Maji of Nuntia. The Instiution is highly indebted for their tireless effort and selfless struggle to honourable Sri Brindaban Adak , late Sri Sadhan Chandra Hajra , late Sri Balai Ch Mondal , late Sri Adhir Chandra Mannaetc Mention must be made of late Sri Ashok Bhakta and Sri Kartick Das whose contribution from time to time has helped to a great exten for the uplifment and development of the school .the roll of Assistant teachers ,Para Teachers and  Group D staff  must be worth remembering for the smooth progress of education and school management .
