Everything has to happen somewhere at a certain point of time...There are some things which happen naturally and there are, on the other hand, some things which demand a lot of incessant and spontaneous effort to cause to happen something. With the pur[pose of educatinf the mass the residents of Hallyan were very committed to establishing a safe and positive learning environment in the heart of the village. In view of this expectations they set up an ducational institution as "HALLYAN  ISLAMIC MADRASA" on 31st Dec.,1923. It is under Bagnan Police Station in Howrah District. Lateron it was upgraded to "JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL" in 1968 and twenty four years after that it gained its recognition as "HALLYAN HIGH SCHOOL (H.S.)" in 1992. The institution is offering the Vocational and Technical courses as well from the 2007-08 session. As Board Exam. Center : Madhyamik Pariksha - from 2005 & Vocational XI & XII - from 2009
