History

Our school is a renowned HS institution with Science , Arts and Vocational streams . It was founded by late Ganesh Chandra Sarkar , an eminent social reformer of Uluberia and surrounding rural areas in the year 1961 . The school was recognized as a 2-class Junior High School w.e.f  01.01.1963 . Then , it was recognized as a 4-class Junior High School w.e.f  01.01.1964. In the year of 1966 , the school was recognized as 11-class HS School with Science and Arts stream . Later on , it was diverted to 10-class Madhyamik School with w.e.f  01.01.1972 . During the academic year of 2001-02 , WBCHSE gave recognition as HS(+2) stream with Science and Humanities .
