History

History: History is made with myth. History is made to be demolished. Kankrai   Gangadhar Sikshayatan possesses the position in the history of education. The land is very fertile. The river Damodar flows in the eastern side and the river Mundeswari flows in the Western side of this Institution. So the middle part of the two rivers is enriched with alluvium. It is an ideal place for farming as well as for the spreading of education to the children of the common and innocent people.  

            This Institution was established on 06.02.1967. Late Yubaraj Hazra, a man of simplicity of this village, a well-known social worker, an artist of educational consciousness, lover and actor of drama (Jatra) and donor of the land where the School stands set up this institution with others. Though he had education very little, he had strong desire to educate the children of the locality.
