History

Benupalhak High School (HS) was not a high school when it was founded first. On 22nd January in 1948 in a very remote village of Howrah district of newly independent India , a group of enlightened persons , with their visionary Zeal and enthuasism established on upper primary school at Benupalchak with a hope to bring light of knowledge amidst darkness of ignorance , their earnest effort and financial support made the small institution a large one . It was a co-ed school set up ina small building . In 1978 the school got the affiliation from W.B.B.S.E and some teacher for smooth running. Most students of backward classes and unprivileged families read here. In 2009 the school was upgraded into H.S school with arts stream only. The school has two storeyed building with boundary wall. The school has 10 class rooms , office room , staff room , Geo lab , comp. rooms and extra rooms for non - teaching purpose . Some room need urgent repair , presently we are going to start ICT class for all sections . In spite of less teaching strength our teacher try their best for the overall development of their students.
