History

To transmit the light of education to every girl child some educationists of the locality of Bargachia founded a school named “Bargachia Anchal Balika Vidyapith” on 1st January in the year 1969. At that time the school did not claim to have a building of its own. The classes were accommodated at the adjacent boys’ school scheduled in the morning session from classes V to VIII. Later on, in the month of March in 1979 a building was constructed with four rooms. Further, with the acknowledgement of Late Pannalal Shit the school flourished. After that, the name of the school was altered and named as "Bargachia Anchal Pannalal Shit Balika Vidyapith". In the year of 1987 the school raised to Secondary from class V. Furthermore, the school was advanced to Higher Secondary from Secondary in 2009. In the contemporary days the school is running from class V to class XII.
