Rabindra Balika Vidyalaya (High School) is situated at Gauripur village in Jagatballavpur,Howrah,West Bengal. It is a Secondary girls School under the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education. The school started its journey in the year 1971 with only two class rooms, one staff room, two to three teachers and very few students. However it got the government approval in 1974 as junior high school and affiliated as high school in the year of 2005.After that the school began to experience a positive change in its construction as well as its academic health. The school is now a two-storied u-shaped building with a play ground,kitchen,eight class rooms,staff room,office room,a library room and a well equipped computer room.
