The school started its auspicious journey in 1974. Respected Sri Durgapada Mondal & Sri Muktalal Roy bought a plot of land amidst the lush green surrounding and set up the school building . Most of the resident s living the adjoining villages were from backwards (SC/OBC) & minority groups. There was no high school surrounding 10-12 villages. The villagers and some educationist always stood by the school to have its present stature. After many efforts the school, however, got the Govt. recognition in 1999. Sri Durgapada Mondal was appointed the Headmaster & Late Lakshmikanta  Manna was eleted the president of the school.
