History

The school was recognised as two class school (V - VI) on 2nd January, 1971 and as four class junior high school (VII - VIII) in 1986 by W.B.B.S.E. It became a secondary school in 2000 and Higher Secondary in 2006. With Arts Stream. In 2013 Science Stream was initiated and before it in 2010 VIII+ Level Vocational Courses were started. The school became a Govt. Sponsored School in 2015. At present around 1500 students are studying in the school.

Within a very short period of time this school has been able to garnar reputation in the fields of education, sports, social and cultural activities and has become one of the best institutions under Uluberia Sub-Division.
