History

With the grand dream in the eyes and lofty hopes in the breasts, some persons interested in education took initiative to set up  a school in the rural area of Shyampur ,Howrah in 1884.Since then, the school has been progressing towards endless further. Late Dwarakanath Pakhira,ex-H.M.of the school, took a leading & most significant role for the development of the school. To pay homage to the immense contribution of this son of the soil, a statue has been erected in the campus & his solemn Birthday is celebrated with pomp & colour every year. Now the school has many feathers in its cap.We owe a lot to our past students & teachers for it.
