History

Birth & Up gradation: The school came into its existence with the generous donation of land by some families of well cultured and farsighted outlook with a view to spread education among the childrens of the local poor and middle class agrarian families. Then it gradually upgraded to X class; old class XI (SC & Humanities) and now a H.S (XII class) school since 1990 with three streams Arts, Science and Commerce. The Vocational stream (X+2) has been started on September, 2009 (Under the West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development)

Radhapur High School (H.S) is a govt.sponsored school located at Radhapur a remote village in the district of Howrah. It was established in 1940 and recognized as a high school in 1943 by C.U. Then it became a Govt. aided school by W.B.B.S.E and now a Govt. sponsored school w.e.f,1915 by Govt. of West Bengal .The school is situated at the extreme South of the Howrah district and bordering the neighbouring district East Midnapur.
