History

The school was established in the year 1954. At first the place had a hut for rehersal of Jatra of this villegers. The place belonged to Lakshminarayan Thandar babu. His son Kachendranath Thandar babu donated the place in the name of his father for the setting up of the school.

In that time Bhramari Chakraborty babu was the sub-inspector of schools of Shyampur. Upendranath Thandar babu appplied to SIS to established a school here  for the villegers . Then Bhramari Chakraborty babu, came here and started the school with all villegers for a lot of hope.

 At first Jatin Samanta of Amarpur joined this school as the Head Teacher besides Anshuman Samanta was also the Assistant Teacher of this schooI.
