History

"School is a building which has four walls with tomorrow insides" (by Lon Watters) because the blooming souls of tomorrow---the pupils gel an open window to enlighten the darkness of illiteracy after entering into the school premises. Manickpur New Setup Upper Primary School is that type of institution where the pupils are provided with a friendly ambience with its rural backdrop.  It is situated in the middle of the village Manickpur ---- located under Manickpur Gram panchayet, Howrah (Sankrail Block).This Government aided school provides its students a progressive teaching-learning platform to achieve the goal of education along with all sorts of govt. benefits &schemes.

The school started its first journey in 2008 under the supervision of Mr.Lakshmipati Varti(SI during this period)  along with four guest teachers.

In 2013, three permanent teachers were appointed through SSC & in 2014, another teacher was joined (through General Transfer). Now, the school has four permanent teachers and 40 students.
