History

The school has been set up to impart women education .

The school was recognised by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education w.e.f.01.01.1964.as 2 class Junior High School.

The school was upgraded to 4 class Junior High School w.e.f.01.01.1984..by the West Bengal Board Of Secondary Education.

The schoolstarted its MDM programme from 2008.

At present however the school has no enrolment since 2018.
