In the Year of 1921 few villagers interested in education along-with entire villagers established the school. Land was donated by Late Krishna Mohan Shee. From the very beginning, the school is co-education.In 1946 the school got Govt Aid and approval.
Initially, there were 3 rooms and a long veranda, and these were used for delivering classes to students. Later, with the grant of Sorbo Siksha Mission, the 1st floor was constructed. The old building was demolished as this became dangerous with the order from DPSC.
At the moment there are 3 teachers in the school. They try their best to teach students with enough care and guidance. They take care of education, sports, mid-day meal, cleanliness, and many other aspects of students.
In this school, in the morning section, there was another primary school which was named "Duillya Girls Primary". From 1-DEC-2006 this school was merged with "Duillya Board Primary" school as per District Primary School Council order and students and teachers are merged as well.
This school has enough land to establish a High School. If this school is upgraded to a high school, students from the village would be benefitted and they do not have to go far away to other schools for higher education. In 2021, the school will complete 100 years.
