
Like every old school, our Bartala Primary School has it's own history. It was 1980, when the Santra family who were lived in Battala Baidyapara under Sankrail Police Station and Post Office open a small school in a small building made up of mud and named Bartala Primary School with approximately 50 students. Slowly the school developed. Although the school began with Hindu students but slowly Muslim students also joined there.
After a long journey in the year of 2002, the TIC of the school Mrs. Pranati Sarakar had successfully build the first floor of the new building with the help of Government School Building Grants Amount 4times. At that time the school had it's first floor with 3 classroom.
There after, the current Head Teacher of the school Miss Bula Mandal had successfully completed the 2nd floor of the building with 2 more classroom, 1 storeroom, 1 kitchen, 4 toylates (2 for girls, 2 for boys) separately with the help of Government School Building Grants Ammounts 3 times. She also succeeded to connect electricity and arrangements of drinking water through 700ft deep tubewell. Now the school has it's structure parmanently. There is a healthy environment available in the each and every classroom. There are sufficient lights, fans, air, windflow, drinking water for both students and teachers. The school is runnig with 251 students and 7 teachers including headteacher successfully.
