History

The inception of the school was blissfully executed when there was an accute dearth of girls School in the locality, i.e. Bankra, a muslim infested village in the district of Howrah, andl the girls were lagging far behind in the filed of education.  In 1968 , a school, namely Bankra Badamtala Girls' High School, was established with the interest and help of some local educationally interested people.  The school was granted the affiliation to fifth and sixth standards in 1971. It was further upgraded to upper primary (i.e., class VII & VIII) in 1982. Later, in 2000 the school was upgraded to the secondary division.  Now the school is granted the Higher Secondary affiliation in 2018 by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. To ensure a golden future and to add esteem to our institution amidst all determents and diversities we would like to join hands together with all the teaching, non teaching staffs, students, therir guardians and local persons embedded with interest in education.
