History

The villagers of nonakundu took decision for the establishment of a school at nonakundu village on 1st january 1972 in the name of famous social worker Dr. Mahadev Karar. The poor students of nonakundu, mohisnala, mohisgot, bhadua anupnagar come to read here.At first there was no school building so it was run at Nonakundu Basic School in the morning session.The first three headmaster were Sri Bejoy kr Chowdhury, Sri Probodh kr. Adak and Sri Arun Kr Chakraborty.The school was first recognised as a 4-class junior high school in the year 1985.After that it has been upgraded to secondary and higher secondary in the year 2005 and 2012 respectively.Now it has own building on its own land which was donated by Nonakundu Uttarpara Jubok Sangha.
