History

In January 1963 Salika Bidyapeeth became approved as a Junior High School. In January 1966, the permission to teach up to class XI was granted to school by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education on provisional basis. Later The West Bengal Board of Secondary on September 1974 extended the permission for teaching Arts and Commerce in class XI until further order. In 2005 the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education granted permission to teach higher Secondary Stream according to new syllabus. The Platinum Jubilee celebration for the institution started on April 2005 and came to an end with a yearlong celebration. Housed in a multi-storied building, the school boasts of reputation good academic standard and multi-dimensional benefits to underprivileged students.
