History

TOWN SCHOOL,HOWRAH started his journey as " Kishori Panditer Pathshala" in 1890 at M.C.Ghosh Lane,Howrah.After some years it was shifted to present address,56/2A Panchanantala Road,Howrah with the help of Prof. Srendranath Chattopadhyay - the first Secretary of the school.With constant effort of Prof.Surendranath Chattopadhyay the school was recognised by Calcutta University in the year 1921.
