Bantra Bidhubhusan Pal Chowdhury  Girls'High school(H.S.) was established in 1953 and is affiliated to WBBSE. It was upgraded to secondary section in 1955 and and then to Higher Secondary section in 2000 with two streams. -- Science and Arts.the School has its own land .It is a Government sponsored institution. The school administration is run by valid Managing Committee.
