History

Late Amulya Chandra DuttaGupta ("Kakababu") srarted this Institution "Howrah Ramkrishna Adarsha Balika Vidyalaya" for educating the girl children in Botanical garden area in 1958. The school started as a primary school and upgraded into seconadry and higher secondary gradulally. Kakababu always was there for helping this institiution and stood by it for many decades. Till date almost one thousand students of this locality from different socio economic background have their education from this institution and get financial assistance and academic help if needed.
