History

In the year 1967, many social workers, education lovers and local peoples of Buxarah thakurpukur aimed to establish a school for the education of the children of the locality, who were very poor and downtrodden. Soon the school was started on a mud wall and bamboo thathed house. Hundreds of boys and girls of the locality and from all over the places started to join. Eventually, in the year 1971, the school was officialy recognized and affiliated by West Bengal Board Of Primary Education (WBBPE). From that time till today, South Buxarah Prathamick Vidyalaya has maintained it's tradition and has spread the light of education through the hearts of many children. Today, South Buxarah Prathamick Vidyalaya is one of the best primary schools in the locality, which excels in all levels - education, sports, and all other co-curriculur activities. The students of South Buxarah Prathamick Vidyalaya are not only educated, but becomes a sensible citizen of the society. In the year 2018, South Buxarah Prathamick Vidyalaya won the prestigious "Nirmal Vidyalaya Award" for the district. The teachers  of South Buxarah Prathamick Vidyalaya are working together all the time to make the school a happy home for all learners.
