History

In the year 1920 Santragachi Bhanumati Girls High School was established to educate girl children in Ramrajatala Locality,Howrah. Initially classes were taken in different premises but in the year 1975 all classes were held under one roof. The school was initially secondary school but now the school is upgraded to Higher Secondary school with arts and science stream. The ex students have established themselves in different sector of life in different parts of this country and abroad also.They are very proud of their prestigious Institution.
