Buxarah Surendranath Girls'High school(H.S.) was established in 1952 and is affiliated to WBBSE. It was upgraded to secondary section in 1957 and and then to Higher Secondary section in 1987 with two streams. -- Science and Arts.the School has its own land and property donated by Late Shri Surendra nath Ghosh. It is a Government sponsored institution. The school administration is run by valid Managing Committee.
