Brief about ADARSH HINDI VIDYALAYA:

Adarsh Hindi Vidayalaya is situated in Santragachi, in the district of Howrah of West Bengal. it was founded in the year 26/04/1968 only for Hindi speaking students to encourage, know and value the need of education. The geographic demography of this school is such that it Is situated on Government of Indian Railways property hence looked after by the South Eastern Zone of Railways, the water and electricity supply is provided by them. Also, it is located opposite the beautiful Santragchi Jheel (Lake), which a home to the migratory birds during winters besides being a tourist attraction in itself. The touch of nature is always an inspiration for growing minds especially for the students of this institution. This is a primary school with coeducational administrative body, from Pre-Primary (recently introduced) to Stdl-1V, consists a total number of two hundred and forty nine students, 120 boys and 129 girls, with 2 male and 4 female teaching staffs and 3 non-teaching staffs (the cooks/helpers). The outstanding number of students makes it the only school of the Jagacha Circle (Zonal distribution) from the district Howrah the school with highest number of students among others. Tagging it as an achievement there has been never a time when there is lesser number of admissions than this or any vacant seats off-session, it fills up quickly because of its high-demand. Regardless of the infrastructural size and open area beside a public road which is under the Government of Indian Railways, covering the entire school it is always packed with students always growing in number, especially in the girls section. However, the admission process is simply first come; first serve in order to avoid any irrelevant and unnecessary issues with academics. With an introduction to the pre-primary classes (under the immediate supervision and control of the Head Teacher itself) recently debuting through there has been a higher demand for admissions. Both academically & administratively it strictly follows both the State & Central Governments formats, regulations and norms for running an institution keeping in mind the administrative developments & academic progress necessary for the students. It includes all the Government schemes like Nirmal Vidyalaya ,  Annual Health Check-ups are not only for promoting social awareness but also healthcare attentions and uplifting morality among students. Alongside school dress is also proivded to each and every student by the school .  Regular house visits by the Head Teacher is another important part of the developmental project followed by the official visits of School In-charge at the institution itself makes an excellent impact on the administration. Apart from these general advancements of this school inculcates co-curricular activities among the students, allows them to come forward and discover their talents for pedagogical and psychological growths through the support and guidance of the administration. Sports and Cultural activities and events are organized and are closely observed for identifying the capabilities of the students interests apart from academics for providing them a higher and growing platforms, in other words, to rise and shine.

However, managing all of two hundred and forty nine students is indeed a challenge in itself which is won over by this school in every department required for an developing institution. For instance, from providing the schools uniforms to digitally printing identity Cards for both the students and staffs shows the responsible, carefulness and mindfulness of the administration. With the digitalization taking over the academia, they had been a little ahead of this motion by introducing the digital identity Cards years back from now. What makes it uniquely useful is that the contact information of the Head Teacher of the school is made available for those in case of urgencies or emergencies relevant towards the student.
