History

The school was established in 1963 with the help of some local people interested in education & got its recognition as X class High School w.e.f. 01.01.1971 by WBBSE vide Memo No. 9724/G dt.12.08.1971.The first Grant-in-aid was introduced w.e.f. 01.01.1976, vide G.O. No.627Edn(s) 5P-62/74 dt.07.04.1976 & First Grant -in-aid was brought in salary deficit scheme w.e.f. 01.01.1976 by D.I. of Schools (SE) Howrah vide Memo No. 198/5/GA dt. 31.03.1977.
