History

In 1966 the school was established in a small setup only to expand education among girls. It was a junior high school then. The school in a rented building at 6, Hridoy Banerjee lane, middle Howrah had very little scope and space for all types of  activities. The school was shifted to a new rented building in 1979 at Bantra M.S.P.C High School (morning shift) and later on in 1994 to Kona High School (morning shift). In 2006 the school was upgraded from junior high school to secondary school under West Bengal Board of Secondary Education. The school moved to its present premises at Banaras road, Kona, Howrah on 8th March 2013.
