History

The Vidyalaya was set up on 1July  in 1950. Bally Maha Kali Pathsala, Bally M.E. School and Bally Banerjee para Boys' School were merged to form Bally Siksha Niketan for Boys. The decision was taken in a public meeting held in Bally. The Vidayalaya Bhavan was bulit in 1950 over a land of 6 kottah, 6 Chotak at 7 Sirkhel Para Lane in  Bally Mouza . The Vidyalaya was affiliated as a Junior High School in 1958 by the education departmnet of the Govt. of West Bengal. In 1965 the Vidalaya was recognised as a Madhyamik School and in 1967 was allowed to teach 11 class of the old education system. When the new eduation system (10+2) started in 1976 the school was recognised to teach  only upto class 10. In 2001 the Vidyalaya was upgraded into the status of a H.S. school. the Vidyalaya got the permission to teach Humanities and Commerce in H.S. section. Now the Vidalaya exists as a H.S. school having Arts and Commerce stream in H. S. section.
