KhamarparaJagriti Hindi Vidya Mandir, Belurmath, was established in the year 1968. The name of the school is named after the movie Jagriti, which inspired the local people to build a school for the neighborhood. Earlier it was known as Jagriti Hindi Vidya Mandir. Later, it was named after the local area Khamarpara as KhamarparaJagriti Hindi Vidya Mandir. It started as a Primary School, and then in the year 1982, it got affiliated as Secondary School. In the year 2000, it became Higher Secondary School.
