History

Some patriotics , scholars , learned and enthusiastic men of North Kolkata felt the need of building an Educational Institution during the early part of twentieth century to sow the seeds of Education among the then probable and interested school goers of the neighbouring areas . Driven by necessity and self - inspiration a Temple of Learning was given birth in a two storied building on 2nd January , 1926 , called THE PARK INSTITUTION . From its very birth the school took the responsibility of careful , constant and regular teaching the local students and thereby produced many learned and successful personalities who have ornamented their positions brightly in the various field of Education , Arts , Games and Sports .During its journey many changes have been made to keep pace with the time , need and socio- economic changes of the society . The school , now a four storied building , gradually introduced co-education system in the Higher Secondary Section with three streams , Computer Learning , modern subjects like Computer Science , Journalism etc., K-Yan Smart class rooms , Math Laboratories , Solar Energy System to take care the electricity of the whole school , a Conference Hall , self-governed Mid-day Meal system , Basketball Court , Gymnasium etc. and brought about many changes time to time to the conventional Laboratories and teaching-learning aids to cope with the modern system of learning.
