History

The school was established in 1935, on the 14th February in a rented house in the locale of  Ultadanga Main Road area of  North Kolkata by some education -loving enthusiastic persons of the locality. At the beginning there were very few students.  But from the  next year number of students began to increase.Teachers and students were in great troubles in that  rented mud built  house. Thereafter  a long course of time, in1995 the then Headmaster Sri Pijush Kanti Ghosh with the help of Teachers and guardians, purchased a land and started the work of new building in the area of Bidhan Nagar Road. The School got its own  house and it gained an extended energy.After the retirement of Pijushbabu Sri Nabakumar Karmakar joins. With the financial assistance of  Sarba Siksha Mission , he created the Annex building. He retired in 1911. Sri Subir Kumar Handal joins in1914. Now the School attained its highest position in the locality  both in academic ,cultural, sports, creative activities, community relationship, social work, etc.
