Established in the year 1933, in memory of Sm. Sunity Devi, daughter of Sri. Keshab Chandra Sen, eminent personality in Bramha Samaj and social reforms in the Bengali Renaissance period.
This is a secondary school in North Kolkata , where the secondary section has classes from VI to X. The school has a history playing a leading role in women's education and attracted lot of female students from renowned progressive families since its inception in mid and late 20th Century.
