History

The School was founded by late Smt Kamala Basu in 1961(Class 2 recognition was granted in 1962 junior high School).

Class 4 recognition was granted in 1963 .The School was granted High School recognition in 1965.

The School completed 50 years of serving the cause of educating the Girl child in 2011.
