History

The School was recognised by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education in 1956 with permission to present candidate at the S.F Examination in 1958.The construction of the present school building was completed iin 1963.The School was recognised by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary education with +2 stage from the 1st July .This is institution owes a lot to Hriday Ranjan Ghosal the district school inespector of the 1950's who extended his helping hand to the foundation of the school building.Another person whose name has become synonymous with the instiution is the recently deseased Prithwis Kumar Basu one of the founder of the institution who had a stint of 26 years as the headmaster and who had rendered yeoman's service to the full-fledged development of the Institution.
