Entally Hindu Balika Vidyamandir was formerly known as Sarojini Hindu Girls School pre Independence, 1944. It was recognised as a girls school from 1946 with permission to present candidate at Matriculation Examination in 1947. It was renamed as Entally Hindu Balika Vidyamandir in 1955. The school was received Grant-in-Aid from 1974. The school was recognised by WBBSE in 1974 also. The school was upgraded to Higher Secondary in 2003.
