                                                                       “Pranipatena paripashena Sevaya”

The inspiration for Bhuthnath Mahamaya Institution came in when a small group of people envisioned a local school for their children.

By 2nd January 1930, a school was born at Loreto Convent campus opening a freshly painted class I to IV students. Their Head teacher was Lt. Shri Manoranjan Sengupta.

The school continued to expand when Lt. Bhutnath Ghosh & Lt. Mahamaya Ghosh donated rupees 10000. After extensive renovation by pioneering, teachers, parents, friends rented a place in R.N.C Road and Our school started its journey properly.

In 1995-1997, Shri Aloke Kumar Bhattacharya & Shri Kalyan Brata Basu with co operation of Rotary club renovated the old damaged building.
