History

THE MODEL HIGH SCHOOL, 1,LANDSDOWNE LANE, KOLKATA-700026, has been continuing for more than 80 years. First, the school was recognised by the then C.U. as 10 class Boys' High School w.e.f  01/01/1939 (Memo number- S/9000/Pro860 dated 16/01/1939). The school has been aided from 1978-79 [Memo number- B-207/2(1) GA dated 10/08/1978]. The school is affiliated to WBBSE (Index no- A3-063). Now the school is a Govt. sponsored Boys' High School since 2013 (Memo no- 5317/RMSA/SL/5S-264/12 dated 30/09/2013).
