The location of Bijoygarh Balika Vidyapith is situated at Jadavpur- Bijaygarh, Kolkata. The children get the most out of their education as they are taught by a team of 8 professional and dedicated faculties in this State Board School.
In 1949, Bijoygarh Balika Vidyapith was launched. This school's primary medium of instruction is Bengali. The school takes pride of its excellent teaching methodology.
The school has given exceptional results in the academic sphere and its students have excelled in extra co-curricular activities too. 100% qualify examination.
This locality was basically a refugee based colony, which was densely populated where the need of such schools evolved and established to fulfil the need of education of those children, whose parents had to lose almost everything during post partition in early 50’s and settled down here. As a result a good number of schools have been set up in close proximity.
On the other hand, ours is the traditional-establishment in the area which is attached with the local sentiment. Many of our old students are now well established in their respective field. Nevertheless; it was being considered as the best one in the past.
Furthermore, we have got huge potentiality regarding the infrastructural resources. We all in the school both teaching and non - teaching staffs, as a team are solely and emotionally involved with the school and are ready to offer their extended co operation for any such developmental activities in the present changed situation.
Our recent past performance already shows it's interest in the overall development of a student from Academic, Psychological and physical point of view .Growing continuously in recent days which is observed in its performance in different fields like Madhyamik Pariksha Result , Sports achievement, Cultural achievement and overall personality development .
