History

More than seven decades back in 1952 ,Baghajatin Balika Vidyalaya ( H.S.), took the pledge to transform education. The vision was to provide an atmosphere to our students for multifaceted development, where they can get the encouragement to channelize their potential in an pursuit of excellence . This was made possible in a holistic , student centric environment with the sincere involvement of local residents as well as with the positive efforts of dedicated teaching and non-teaching faculties. The talents, skills and abilities of each student need to be identified , nurtured and encouraged so that he/she is able to reach greater heights . Here we provide the students a platform to think , express and exhibit their skills both in curricular and co-curricular activities.

                                           The school has strived hard to make the best possible efforts to encourage the students in participating competitive state level sports, annual school sports and other school programmes like celebration of Independence Day , Republic Day etc. with full reverence.School encourage meritorious students with prizes to boost up their talents. In 2001 – 2002 , we have celebrated our golden jubilee year. Every year we organize science exhibition and publish our school magazine “ Aroni “ . We were attached with Manovikas Kendra for four years.
