History

INTRODUCTION: 

The school was established in 1967 and housed in a two roomed ground floor flat opposite Dinabandhu Andrews College in garia. There were five teachers one clerk and one group D staff. It was a four class junior high school.

FURTHER IMPROVEMENT:

The teachers took up and enormous task of upgrading the school to the secondary level and at last the school was upgraded to a x class secondary school and also as aided school the teachers tirelessly thrived to procure a land for this school. Then the PWD minister alloted a piece of wasted land beside Tolly's Nullah for the school building. Now also the teachers doneted money to construct the school building. So a tiled roofed brick construction was made and the school began its journey here. There was no proper toilet or water or light in the class room. Only a tubewell was all we had....

NEW BUILDING:

Now thanks to SARVA SIKSHA MISSION. The school is a three storied building with all emenities and even a computer room now we have. The second building is two storied which houses the residance of the diprived students, the kitchen, the dinning room and the toitets.
