History

Jadavpur Sammilita Balika Vidyalaya, previously known as Jadavpur Sammilita Udbastu Vidyalaya was the result of tireless striving of the education minded then 'Udvastus' residing in nine different colonies namely Vidyasagar Upanibesh, Shyama Colony, Chittaranjan Colony, Bapujinagar Colony, Nabanagar Colony, Shaktigarh Colony, Ramkrishna Upanibesh, Ramgarh Colony and Anandapally.This institution was established in the year of 1951.

The contribution of Jogesh Chandra Banerjee (Founder Headmaster), Rabindranath Guha ( Founder Secretary), Sukumar Mitra ( Founder President) and above all Niva Roy, the dedicated Headmistress in establishing and developing the school is commendable, unforgettable and memorable.
