History

 There was no ray of education until mid twentieth century. Local residents Makhanlal Chattopadhyay & Mr. Nirod Ranjan Das rendered monetary help and Mr. Subodh Kumar Roy Mondal offered land. With this small initiative the school started on a 12 Kathas land with bamboo mud thatched roof and wall in 1956 from Class V to VIII, Girls section in the morning and Boys section at noon.

Class V to VIII affiliation came in 1968,  Madhyamik  in 1987 and Higher Secondary in 1996.
