History

Hatgacha Haridas Vidyapith (H.S) is like a lighthouse illuminating a large number of localities & areas numbering nearly 25 villages around the institution.The school was established on 10th January,1962 by Late Ananta Kumar Mondal with the help of he is two brothers, late Gakul Chandra Mondal & late Siddheswar Mondal along with the patronage of the local people interested in education.The school was  first recognised by West Bengal Board of Secondary Education.as a junior school.Later it was upgraded as the secondary school in 1966.From the Academic Year 2007-2008 it was recognised as the Higher Secondary school by West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education.The school  is  now vibrant with more than two thousand five hundred,students 98% of whom come from sc,st,obc,minority families.
