Education is probably the most important tool to change one’s life. It certainly determines the quality of an individual’s life and improves one’s knowledge, skills, personality and attitude. In this process of development, schools have always been learning centres.With a vision to provide quality education, some educationists of Iswaripur laid the foundation of Iswaripur Marjina vidyaniketan.Our very own Iswa ripur Marjina vidyaniketan started its journey in 1973.In the year of 1994 our institution received the affiliation from WBBSE. Subsequently our institution was upgraded to higher secondary with affiliation from WBCHE in 2012.Some well known persons of the village played the pivotal role to set up the institution. we always pay our respect and gratitude to them.Among them education- lover Lt. Md.Saheb Ali Molla and Lt. Md.Islam Ali Molla took the leading role. Other members of the brigade were Lt.Shri Shreedhar Mahato,Lt. Md.Jiad Ali Molla,Lt. Md.Abul Hossain Molla,Lt.Golam Sarowar Molla and Lt.Dr.Harendranath Sarkar.
Presently our institution provides the students with the scope to study in science or in Arts stream in Higher Secondary level. We also have the facility of well- equipped laboratories for computer, geography, physics ,Biology and Chemistry. Our library is lined with huge amount of books. we are working on our infrastructure development too.In 2016 our respected MLA Mr.Saukat Ali Molla sanctioned the fund for the lane to connect four buildings of our school from his MLA fund. With our very supportive school committee, we have completed our work on multi-gym and have started vocational course on plumbing and sewing .We are very proud to declare that our institution has secured the the first position in our district for Kanyashree Prakalpa.
Our students are making us proud with their good academic score.In games and other extra- curricular activities also our school enjoys a high reputation.
. However, without being contented we know that we have many more work to do.We are focusing on the overall development of Iswaripur Marjina Vidyaniketan and we hope that we will succeed in our goal.
