History

:  Nimpith Ashram Sarada Vidyamandir for Girls (High & Higher Secondary) came in to existence in 1968 as four Classes Jr. High School with the kind sanction of WBBSE at Nimpith, outskirt of Sundarban under the District of South 24-Parganas . It was upgraded as a X-Class High School from Jr. High School w.e.f. 01.01.1980 by the WBBSE and it got sanctioned again for up gradation in to a Higher Secondary with effect from 2001-2002 with the discipline of Arts and Science of General Stream Courses by the WBCHSE. The School is spreading over an area of 10 Acre land having Hostel facilities for the students hailing from remote islands of  Sundarbans.  There are 38 Teaching, 7 Non-Teaching Staffs and 1890 Students in our School. The school runs under the direct supervision of Sri Ramkrishna Ashram, Nimpith and enjoys the benefit of Special Rule sanctioned by the Education Department, West Bengal vide Gazette Notification No. 918.Edn(S) dated 21.09.1990
