                             Mahapur primary school

Our school history :-

Few villagers of Mahapur , devotees to education they were in real sense , dreampt that , - local children should have their primary education from a local school . They went to Mr. Jnanada Chakraborty , the kindhearted man of the same village , for a piece of land . Chakraborty babu agreed with them , and donated 49 decimal of land for a school building . The village people worked unitedly to construct a mud hut , thatched with straw , and our Mahapur Primary School started her journey . 

  Primarily , Mr. Netai Chandra Adak and Mr. Gour Chandra Adak were appointed as instructers in volunteer . Local students admitted, and the school got Government Sanction in 1974 , with the grand help of the Head Master of Gobindanagar Muslim High School , Mr. Harikeshab Bhattacharya , who assisted as the official link with his experience .

  Gradually , the same school got developed to be a bi-storeid pecca building , with a kitchen , a dining hall , a good toilet system , a beautiful garden and a playground.
